Tomas
Leskovjan is living his dream - to have his own business. This
was prohibited
when
the Czech Republic was under the Communist
regime
(1948 - 1989). Soon after the
fall of
Communism in the Velvet
Revolution of 1989, Tomas went on a two-month exchange
trip to
Utrecht in the Netherlands to learn about entrepreneurial skills,
skills that were
needed in a
country in transition to a free
market system. Using this experience he got into
active
holidays
in 1992 by organizing skiing trips.
In 1996, he started Greenways
Travel Club, specializing in
personalized, active vacations
along
the Central European Greenways – cycling, hiking,
horse riding,
canoeing, multi-
activity holidays.
Cycling was the most requested tour by far. In 2004, Tomas decided
to transfer his
extensive, bicycle tour experience to focus more
on cycling in Europe. Topbicycle is the
result and offers:
Further
enhancng our professional profile we joined the American
Society of Travel Agents
(ASTA), which is the
largest association of travel professionals. We are also members
of
the Adventure
Travel Trade Association (ATTA), which champions adventure
travel.
